Organizers announce plans for third annual Niagara Falls Music & Art Festivalby jmaloni
Niagara Falls Music & Art Festival President Rick A. Crogan, volunteer Becky Marchetti and Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster spoke Thursday at a press conference announcing details for the third annual summer event, scheduled to take place this year from June 28-30.
As in years past, the event will feature live music, art on display and food vendors. Unlike the first two festivals, however, this one will take place on Old Falls Street.
In the video below, the speakers share more details about the Niagara Falls Music & Art Festival.
Approximately 7,000 people attended the festival during its first two years. The event is funded through donations, and does not use taxpayer money.
Hours for this year's three-day Niagara Falls Music & Art Festival are Friday, from 4 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Hamburg's Marcus Wise, owner of 464 Gallery in Buffalo, and a staunch supporter of the Niagara Falls Music & Art Festival, will receive the first "Commitment to the Arts Award."
