Niagara Falls State Park announces Indigenous artisan permit application

Applications for the 2025 Indigenous artisan permits are now available for the upcoming summer season at Niagara Falls State Park. Applications are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at the DeVeaux Woods State Park Castellani Building, 3160 DeVeaux Woods Drive E., Niagara Falls; or online at https://parks.ny.gov/parks/46/. To have an application mailed to you, call 716-278-1770.

Entries are due by Friday, March 25. The drawing will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, at Niagara Falls State Park (Community Room at the Education Center), 316 Prospect St., Niagara Falls. Six names will be drawn, and applicants must be present to be selected.

In order to be eligible for a permit, applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have Indigenous tribal membership or provide verifiable proof of Indigenous heritage.
