Expanded department created to best manage existing food and beverage portfolio and pursue additional offerings

Pegula Sports and Entertainment CEO Kim Pegula has announced the creation of the PSE hospitality division, a new unit of the company that will unite the management of all PSE food and beverage properties and create an organized structure to position the company to pursue additional restaurant and hospitality opportunities in Western New York and beyond.

"Three years ago, we entered the restaurant business with the simple goal of creating a great sports-themed dining experience in downtown Buffalo," Pegula said. "Once we began working on (716) Food and Sport, opportunities continually arose that piqued our interest to expand. Our portfolio has rapidly grown, creating the need to centralize its management through a new hospitality division that will also evaluate future growth."

PSE Vice President of Hospitality Dominic Verni will lead the new hospitality division. Verni originally joined Terry and Kim Pegula's HarborCenter project to create (716) Food and Sport. Under his leadership, PSE food and beverage properties have grown to include (716), HarborCenter's (716) at The Rinks concessions, The Healthy Scratch, The Healthy Scratch Food Truck, HarborCenter's Tim Hortons Café & Bake Shop, and Deer Valley Trails in the Adirondack Mountains. PSE also provided design support to SEAR Steakhouse and oversees concession management contracts with Delaware North for operation of New Era Field and KeyBank Center, along with Shaner Hotel Group for management of the Buffalo Marriott HarborCenter.

"Beginning with the opening of (716) in 2014, we have quickly grown into a first-class food and beverage operation with a wide variety of offerings," Verni said. "We have created this new division of PSE to best manage our current portfolio and strategically position ourselves for future growth. We are ready to expand and are actively pursuing several opportunities in Western New York and beyond."

PSE is a management company that streamlines key business areas across all Pegula family-owned sports and entertainment properties, including the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits, Rochester Americans, HarborCenter and Black River Entertainment, along with several food and beverage entities. PSE's mission is exemplified by its One Buffalo initiative, which unites Western New York and serves as a representation of teamwork through a deeper connection between Buffalo sports teams, fans and the community.
