'The Chew' swings into spring

Emmy Award-winning co-hosts Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Carla Hall, Clinton Kelly and Daphne Oz welcome celebrities to "The Chew," including Anthony Bourdain, Morris Chestnut, Katherine Heigl, J.B. Smoove, Courtney B. Vance, the week of April 17-21 (1 p.m.), on The ABC Television Network.

Listings are as follows (and are subject to change):

Monday, April 17 - "Last-Minute Treats!" - Great ideas for repurposing Easter candy, and Clinton shares what recipes inspire him from social media in "Tweet Treats."

Tuesday, April 18 - "Clean Plate Club" - Morris Chestnut talks about his new book, "The Cut," with Carla, and they whip up a tasty appetizer; Michael rescues a viewer's dish, taking it from disaster to winner.

Wednesday, April 19 - "Spring Slim-Down Suppers" - Just in time for beach weather, an hour devoted to healthy dinners. Courtney B. Vance tells Clinton about his new movie, "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks"; Michael and Daphne create sinful and healthy versions of the same dish; Carla makes a guilt-free scrumptious sweet.

Thursday, April 20 - "All-Star Eats" - Anthony Bourdain talks about his new documentary, "Jeremiah Tower: The Last Magnificent"; comedian J.B. Smoove cooks up a delicious treat with Clinton.

Friday, April 21 - "Global Dinner Party" - Katherine Heigl ("Unforgettable") joins Carla in the kitchen; Clinton whips up a dish inspired by a recent vacation; Mario mashes up two global faves for one irresistible eat!
