Dr. Christine Oliver joins Memorial's primary care team

Christine M. Oliver, M.D., a child and adolescent psychiatrist with extensive experience working with people with developmental disabilities, has joined the medical staff at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

Oliver, who will be providing care to patients at the Golisano Center for Community Health, is a native of Durham, England. She is a graduate of the University at Buffalo, where she earned a master's degree in nursing, and received her medical degree from the U.B. School of Medicine and Biomedical Science.

Following graduation from medical school, she did residency programs in pediatrics and general psychiatry and completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry and a Buswell Fellowship in research.

Oliver has been a consulting psychiatrist for the Family Center of WNY, St. Mary's School for the Deaf, Children's Hospital of Buffalo and Summit Educational Resources. She is a former research assistant professor and clinical professor in the department of psychiatry at the University at Buffalo.

Oliver is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association. She serves on the on the board of directors at Summit Educational Resources Inc.
