Bills to hold 'Madden' Club Series Championship at (716) on Sunday

8 finalists will compete for $10,000 prize pool in eSports event, which will be streamed live online

(716) Food and Sport is set to host the Buffalo Bills "Madden 17" Club Series Championship on Sunday, beginning at noon. Eight of the best Madden players from the eastern region of the U.S. are preparing to compete for their share of a $10,000 prize pool in Western New York's first eSports event. The competition will be broadcast live on Twitch.tv and BuffaloBills.com, and will be hosted by Bills Wall of Famer Steve Tasker.

Admission is free for eSports fans to watch the tournament live on (716)'s 38-foot video screen, as the competitors square off in the main bar room. Guests will have a chance to meet Bills alumni and Billy Buffalo, and will be able to compete themselves in "Madden 17" on Xbox One against fellow attendees. Prizes will also be available from the Bills and (716).

The "Madden 17" NFL Club Series is a premier event of the "Madden" NFL Championship Series. Eight NFL clubs are hosting championship events in their home cities to crown a club champion. Participating teams include the Bills, 49ers, Chiefs, Jaguars, Patriots, Seahawks, Steelers and Vikings. Close to 2,000-strong "Madden" gamers have competed online over the Past six weeks in the preliminary rounds of the Bills Championship, with the hopes of advancing to Sunday's championship rounds.
