On Thursday, Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello joined students from Niagara Falls' Catholic Academy to create Valentine's Day cards for seniors around the district. The event is one Morinello plans to make a yearly tradition. He said he hopes it will inspire others to think about giving back to those across the district.

"Everyone deserves to feel special on Valentine's Day," Morinello said. "This event was an opportunity to teach these students about how something as small as a card can help brighten someone's day. It's also important to show some of the older generation who may feel a little forgotten on this special day that there is someone thinking about them."
