Obit: Lee A. Wroblewski

Lee A. Wroblewski, 64, of Otto, died July 18, 2016, at her home.

Born April 11, 1952, in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Joseph V. Wroblewski and Leonarda Cendrowski Wroblewski of Grand Island, who survives.

She was a graduate of Grand Island Senior High School, Class of 1970, obtained her Associate of Arts degree in animal science from SUNY Cobleskill in 1972 and her bachelor of science degree from Cornell University in 1974.

She had been employed as a longtime zookeeper at the Buffalo Zoo and was a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Most recently, she was employed as an associate at Walmart in Springville.

Surviving besides her mother are a sister, Janice (James) Schafer; a brother, Joseph S. (Maryellen) Wroblewski; two nieces, Crystal (Jay) Wroblewski and Jodi Wroblewski; and a nephew, Jeremy (Tara) Schafer.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, in the United Methodist Church, 7896 East Flats Road, East Otto.
