Actors Anonymous Theatre Co. is celebrating its 16th season of "Tony n' Tina's Wedding," one of the longest-running interactive shows in Western New York. The staging takes place at the Lancaster Country Club, 6061 Broadway St.

Guests will not only be treated to dinner and a show during the next few weekends, but they will get to become part of the show. "Tony n' Tina's Wedding" includes a theatrical performance, dinner, drinks, live music and the chance to participate in various aspects of the wedding.

"Tony n' Tina's Wedding" is a comedy that follows the events that take place during an Italian-American wedding.

"This is a parody of things that happen at a wedding, so guests will be familiar with many of the things they see in the show," explained Kevin Barwell, the executive and artistic director of Actors Anonymous. "The patrons are a part of the show, and Tony and Tina's family."

The evening starts out with Tony and Tina's wedding ceremony. It is then followed by a wedding reception where guests will be treated to a full Italian buffet dinner, wedding cake, drinks (cash bar) and dancing to music performed by Donny Dulce and Fusion. Music will include wedding favorites to get everyone out of their seat and on the dance floor to enjoy the evening alongside the bridal party.

"There are so many surprises in store for the audience throughout the evening," Barwell said. "There's the sacred dance of the waiters, an impromptu performance by Tony's father's stripper girlfriend, a drunken priest, a comedy monologue, bickering family members, and you can never tell when the pregnant bridesmaid will go into labor."

"Tony n' Tina's Wedding" features several veteran actors, including Karah Krajewski, Bill Kennedy, John Pirrone, Scot Kaitanowski and Justyn Harris. The show also includes new actors to the troupe, including Curtis Rose, Peter Snodgrass, Jodi Cook, Dan Morris, Sean Farrell and Joe Schenkel. Barwell directs.

Actors Anonymous Theatre Co. was founded in 2001, and this season marks the 16th anniversary of the company as well as producing "Tony n' Tina's Wedding" in Western New York. The company has performed over 450 shows and played to over 60,000 patrons.

"Tony n' Tina's Wedding" runs from Jan. 27 through Feb. 25, with performances at 7:15 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets for the show are $35 per person or $32 each for groups of six or more.
