Starting with the upcoming spring semester, SUNY Erie Community College students traveling between their three Western New York campuses will be a lot more identifiable.

Over the winter break, Erie Community College's student transportation department had its tri-campus shuttle fleet - provided and operated by Buffalo's We Care Transportation - wrapped in the college's colors, logos and photos, making them into rolling advocates for ECC's career-focused educational mission. The vehicles, pictured, will go into service once classes resume on Jan. 17, and they will remain in use while classes are in session for this upcoming and future semesters.

"This is an example of us taking advantage of an opportunity to extend our message throughout the community," ECC President Jack Quinn said. "We're proud of the education students can receive at our city, north and south campuses, and we want area drivers to be reminded that you can start here and go anywhere, all while they're driving everywhere."

ECC students can find such information as shuttle stop locations, schedules and travel alerts online at www.ecc.edu/parking-transportation. Additional questions about shuttle service or transportation needs can be directed to the student transportation department at 716-270-5629 or in person.

Since 1946, ECC has met the needs of a diverse student body while contributing to the economic vitality of Western New York. For more information, visit www.ecc.edu or call 716-851-1ECC.
