Monday, Dec. 26

•Portage Road and Seneca Street, motor vehicle accident with injury - Patrol reported a vehicle pursuit that led to the suspect's vehicle hitting a tree. Female, 54, arrested for driving with more than .08 of 1 percent of alcohol; driving while intoxicated; failure to yield right of way to an emergency vehicle; and failure to stop at a stop sign. Lewiston No. 1 Volunteer Fire Co. EMS on scene to treat driver. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court and bail of $1,000/$2,000 assigned.

•4600 block of Townline Road, welfare concern - Patrol reported a verbal argument only between a female victim, 19, and a male suspect, 20. Female concerned the male might become aggressive. Niagara County Sheriff's Office provided courtesy transportation for the female to her mother's hose.

•Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, drug arrest - Patrol reported a female, 46, found in possession of 24 oxycodone pills and 23 oxazepam pills. Suspect placed under arrest. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court; suspect remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $250 cash bail. Return court date assigned.

•Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, two-vehicle accident - Patrol reported an accident involving two semi-trailers. Male, 36, listed as driver No. 1 charged with an improper right turn and leaving the pavement to pass on the right. Uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court and one vehicle towed. No injuries reported.

•500 block of Meadowbrook Drive, property-damage accident - Unidentified owner reported damage to a vehicle that occurred sometime the previous day. Report filed.

•1900 block of Military Road, disturbance - LPD dispatched with Town of Niagara Police on a report of a fight involving 10 people. All found secure at the location and patrol cancelled en route.

•700 block of The Circle Drive, harassment - Female victim, 17, reported an ongoing harassment involving an ex-boyfriend, 17. Investigation continuing. Report filed.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, welfare check - Male listed as person involved found OK by patrol.

Tuesday, Dec. 27

•5900 block of Garlow Road, disturbance/domestic - Female, 49, and male, 59, listed on call. Verbal dispute reported. Report filed.

•1500 block of Upper Mountain Road, agency assist - Homeowner reported blocking a repo truck from leaving the premises. Call resolved by patrol. Report taken.

•700 block of Mohawk Street, harassment - Female victim, 26, contacted patrol regarding a male, 33, listed as her ex-boyfriend, who had been sending excessive text messages. Patrol advised the female to cease all forms of contact. Report filed.

•400 block of Kenwood Drive, assist public - Statement taken from a male victim, 33, who told patrol a female suspect, 26, listed as his ex was harassing him. No report requested at this time.

•5800 block of Walmore Road, agency assist - LPD requested to assist New York State Parole. Male suspect, 57, found to be in possession of a firearm, a violation of his parole as a convicted felon. Male, arrested for criminal possession of a firearm. Arraignment at Lewiston Town Court; no bail assigned.

•800 block of Foxwood Drive, suspicious activity - Patrol reported all OK.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

•4500 block of Townline Road, alarm response (two calls) - Calls handled by patrol. All secure.

•5300 block of Military Road, two-vehicle property damage accident - Statements taken from drivers. One vehicle was parked. Report filed.

•1100 block of Ridge Road, alarm response - Patrol reported an audible residential alarm and all secure. Report filed.

•Hyde Park Boulevard and Scenic Drive (New York Power Authority), vehicle/traffic stop - Male, 48, arrested for operating/permitting operation while license/registration suspended/revoked - Article 7; and operating/permitting operation without insurance. Driver released on appearance tickets for Lewiston Town Court. Vehicle towed and MV form issued.

•200 block of Seneca Street, agency assist - LPD requested by Erie County Sheriff's Office to contact a local family whose juvenile daughter was with a male, 18, who was arrested. Parents contacted; all OK.

•Creek Road Extension at Cayuga Drive, suspicious activity - Passerby reported an individual with a flashlight in a front yard. Patrol searched area with negative results and reported no other calls.

Thursday, Dec. 29

•5100 block of Forest Road, alarm response - False alarm.

•1100 block of Ridge Road, burglary alarm - Patrol reported an audible motion alarm. Nothing found; home secure.

•300 block of Glengrove Road, Youngstown, domestic - LPD on location with NCSO. Male suspect, 32, located at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center. NCSO handled arrest.

•Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, fraud - Male, 23, arrested on credit card fraud. No further information.

•1100 block of Escarpment Drive, assist public - Female, elderly, reported with mental health issues. Call handled by patrol.

•4400 block of Ransomville Road, welfare concern - female, elderly, reported she could not locate her husband. Patrol located the male nearby at a relative's house.

•5300 block of Military Road, possible harassment complaint - Patrol spoke with a female, 62, regarding some unwanted mail. Patrol cleared.

Friday, Dec. 30

•4300 block of Porter Center Road, suspicious activity - Caller reported a male in a red pickup acting suspiciously. Subject found to be taking surveys.

•11000 block of Sanders Settlement Road, vehicle/traffic stop - Male, 40, arrested for operation while registration was suspended/revoked. Appearance ticket issued for Lewiston Town Court and vehicle towed. MV form issued.

•5400 block of Walmore Road, theft - Male complainant reported a female suspect had owed money on a gas purchase. Party returned and paid; call handled.

•Oneida and North Seventh streets, suspicious activity (two responses) - Male reportedly roaming village streets acting belligerently and smelling of marijuana. Patrol reported the complaint as an ongoing problem.

•Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, motor vehicle accident - Patrol determined the accident occurred on the Canadian side and turned the case over to the Ontario Provincial Police.

•600 block of Blairville Road, agency assist - Patrol reported a male (no age listed) was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree, by NCSO. Male listed in the above suspicious activity calls also found on location.

•South Eighth Street, Dumpster fire - Patrol reported an incident behind a pizzeria. Lewiston No. 1 Fire Co. extinguished.

•2400 block of Balmer Road, welfare check - Party reportedly not seen for several days. Neighbors advised patrol they have been out of town for several days.

Saturday, Dec. 31

•5300 block of Townline Road, motor vehicle theft - Male, 57, reported a four-wheeler was stolen overnight.

•1800 block of Saunders Settlement Road, two-car accident with injuries - Patrol reported one driver was extricated from the vehicle and both drivers were transported to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo by Lewiston No. 2 Volunteer Fire Co. ambulance. Statements taken and vehicles towed. Report filed.

•2000 block of Ridge Road, attempt to locate - Male caller reported his female daughter, 21, left the residence in a vehicle heading eastbound. Patrol later advised she just needed to cool off. All OK.

•North Grand Island Bridge, reckless driver - LPD advised a vehicle was believed to be involved in an Amber Alert out of Pennsylvania. Vehicle reported gone on arrival and Amber Alert called off.

Sunday, Jan. 1

•NU campus, DWI-arrest - Caller reported two males, intoxicated and carrying butcher knifes and open cans of beer on campus. One male, 21, arrested for driving while intoxicated; driving with more than .08 of 1 percent or more of alcohol; driving while ability impaired/drugs; criminal possession of a weapon, fourth degree; and unlawful possession of marijuana. Vehicle towed with 12-hour hold placed. No further information.

•300 block of South First Street, shots fired - Caller reported hearing shots in the area. Patrol reported the call as unfounded.

•2400 block of Saunders Settlement Road, disturbance/domestic - Patrol reported a verbal dispute between a female victim, 25, and a male suspect, 24, over belongings. Domestic incident report filed.

•2400 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious activity - Male complainant, 24, reported two unwanted males on property.

•Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, forgery/fraud - Female suspect, 53, found with a $50 counterfeit bill. Currency seized; report filed.
