RealtyUSA holding food, clothing drive

Fri, Dec 9th 2016 04:10 pm

The RealtyUSA office of Grand Island is collecting nonperishable food items for the Food Bank of WNY and new unwrapped toys, clothing and necessities for a battered women's shelter.

Bonnie FitzGerald, real estate agent who organizes the annual drive, noted that Grand Islanders have been generous in the past with donations of food, toys and clothing, especially children's clothing. Dec. 16 is the last day to donate, when representatives from a battered women shelter will stop by for a pickup, while FitzGerald will deliver donations to the Food Bank of WNY.

Donations are accepted at RealtyUSA, 2139 Grand Island Blvd., during office hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends.
