Niagara Falls Memorial Medical has been transformed into a winter wonderland thanks to the talents of Richard Nashwinter, a local interior designer who has donated hundreds of hours to the medical center through the years.

His creativity provides a warm welcome to visitors and staff alike. Nashwinter donated exuberant trees, adorned the lobby with striking holiday colors, and painted the waterfall located outside of the gift shop - describing it as a "midnight winter" theme. The surrounding area takes on the feel of an ice land with big holiday trees, snowflakes and a magnificent winter castle.

Area residents are afforded many opportunities through Memorial's volunteer programs, including the Auxiliary of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Those interested in volunteering can contact Volunteer Services Director Judy Villani at 716-278-4440.
