Niagara Hospice will hold its annual "Light-a-Life" memorial tree lighting celebration at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, under the Dominic Lariccia Family Pavilion behind Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport. Guests will enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, entertainment by a local music group, hot chocolate and coffee bar donated by Starbucks, followed by a nondenominational tree-lighting service.
The community is invited to memorialize loved ones and have their names be part of the program by calling Niagara Hospice at 716-280-0766 or by visiting the events calendar page at www.NiagaraHospice.org. Personalized memorial items are also available for a small donation. Orders will be taken through Nov. 28.
No one is ever denied hospice care due to inability to pay. Through events such as "Light-a-Life," Niagara Hospice raises essential funds to help offset costs for individuals who are under- or uninsured.
Gifts made to Niagara Hospice help provide quality end-of-life care with dignity to Niagara County residents in need. For more information, visit www.NiagaraHospice.org or call 716-439-4417.
