Community Missions will hold an antiques and fine arts auction at the Presbyterian Church in Youngstown on Sunday, Nov. 13. There will be a 12:15 p.m. viewing of auction items, as well as a sampling of hors d'oeuvres, including a roast turkey. The auction will begin at 1 p.m.

In addition to the auction, there will be a flea market with designer purses at $5 (Coach, Gucci, Liz Clairbourne, etc.), a jewelry table, and several tables of flea market items.

Over 150 items are up for auction, including Oriental rugs, antique furniture, paintings, jewelry, porcelain, crystal, sports items, toys, art glass, clocks and antique hats. Items also up for bid include African masks, quilts, tea sets, U.S. Army uniforms, and Beatles and Elvis memorabilia.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Community Missions' crisis services programs, which include the community soup kitchen, food pantry, clothing closet and Marks Place, a home for people living with HIV/AIDS.
