Lions hold meat raffle

The Wheatfield Lion's Club is holding its first meat raffle. The event will take place Saturday, Nov. 5, at the American Legion Post 1451, 6525 Ward Road in Wheatfield.

Meats to be raffled include a variety of beef and pork cuts, as well as chicken and seafood, all supplied by Pellicano's Marketplace. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the raffle begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $5 in advance or $8 at the door. The price of admission includes beer and pop, with a cash bar available. Pizza may be purchased at the event, and the public is invited to bring snacks.
