Wheatfield attorney seeks town justice post

Attorney Joshua Ramos is running for Wheatfield Town Justice and has received the endorsement of the Democratic Party. He is seeking other party lines on the November ballot.

"I see this as an opportunity to serve the people of Wheatfield and use my understanding of the law to make our town court a model for fair administration and protection for the public," Ramos said.

He is married to the former Kristina Cich, a lifelong resident of Wheatfield and graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School. The couple has three daughters and they are active in Gleason's Gymnastics and JCDA Dance.

Ramos started his law practice on his own, operating out of a car. His firm has grown to 10 people serving residents across Western New York. Ramos has been selected for Superlawyers Rising Stars in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The town justice candidate has also has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and the American Institute is Trial Lawyers Top 100.

Ramos assists and volunteers his legal services to many people facing criminal charges who cannot afford an attorney.

"I believe we need to give back and help others," Ramos said. "I want to serve as town justice to help make Wheatfield a better place to live for my family and all others in our wonderful community."
