The Town of Niagara Lions Club presented a specialized bicycle to a visually impaired Niagara Falls resident, Mikayla Forsey, on Sept. 14. The bicycle allows Forsey to ride alongside her mother, Michele.

Numerous members of the community contributed to purchase the bike. Anthony Gagliardo of Gagster's Restaurant contributed $1,000 toward the cost of the bike, using proceeds from the restaurant's annual Gagster's Charity Golf outing. Other contributors included George Satarian, Paul Verciglio, Gary Bevilacqua, Nick Vilardo, Gerry Donovan, Jim Roscetti, Rick Rotella and Ange Onevelo.

Pictured, on the bike, are Mikayla Forsey and her mother, Michele. Standing, from left, are Town of Niagara Lions Club President Theresa White, George Satarian and Lions Bob Shively, Boyd Clark, Joan Dugan and Ange Onevelo.
