Angelo Morinello, candidate for the 145th Assembly District, said he is proud to have received the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business. NFIB/NY is made up of influential small business groups in New York. The NFIB's New York SAFE Trust announced its endorsement of 49 candidates seeking state office in the Senate and Assembly.

"I am honored to have the support and endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business for this November's election," Morinello said. "Niagara Falls has the opportunity to become a destination location with visitors from around the world. In order to capitalize on this, we must create an atmosphere open to investment and where small businesses can flourish. The current policies coming out of Albany are either backward in their philosophy or blatant fronts for corruption, and both are unacceptable."

"Small-business owners all across New York are experiencing a vastly different entrepreneurial experience than the narrative some in Albany continue to describe," said Mike Durant, NFIB/NY state director. "We aggressively support Angelo Morinello because we feel he best represents our members, and we hope he will continue working to change the policy discussion into a positive reality for New York's small-business owners."

The Tax Foundation recently ranked New York as having the second-worst business tax climate in America.

"If we expect to change the business climate in New York, we must stop continually electing politicians who are more concerned with advancing their own careers than helping small business," Morinello said.
