NBC Sports continues its presentation of "Sunday Night Football" this week as Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers host Alex Smith and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Coverage begins with "Football Night in America" at 7 p.m. ET.

Last season, the Chiefs defeated the Steelers in Kansas City by a score of 23-13 in Week 7. The Chiefs have not won in Pittsburgh since 1986, and have won just four times in Pittsburgh since 1970.

The Steelers (2-1) are coming off a 34-3 loss to their undefeated in-state rival Philadelphia Eagles. Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell, who rushed for 121 yards against the Chiefs last year, is expected to return to the lineup on Sunday night following a three-game suspension. WR Antonio Brown had six catches for 124 yards in last year's matchup, and Roethlisberger has thrown for 13 touchdowns in his past four starts at home.

The Chiefs (2-1) enter their Sunday night showdown with the Steelers following a 24-3 victory over the New York Jets, in which the Kansas City defense forced eight turnovers, including six interceptions by Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Smith has won 12 of his past 13 starts for the Chiefs, and RB Spencer Ware ranks second in the NFL with 387 scrimmage yards this season.

Calling Chiefs-Steelers are seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his record 31st season as the voice of the NFL's premier primetime package; 16-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth; and two-time Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.

"Football Night in America," the most-watched weekly studio show in sports, is hosted by Bob Costas, who reports on-site from Heinz Field, and Dan Patrick, who will host from NBC Sports Group's International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Connecticut. Patrick is joined by Hall of Fame head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl champion Rodney Harrison, and Mike Florio of "Pro Football Talk" on NBCSN, NBCSports.com and NBC Sports Radio.

Paul Burmeister will report from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on the Cowboys-49ers game.
