Angelo Morinello, candidate for New York State Assembly in the 145th District, announced the New York State Conservative Party, New York State Independence Party and the Reform Party of New York State formally endorsed him. Morinello said this latest round of broad support signifies he is the right choice to build consensus and lead his community in the Assembly.
"This Assembly race is about trust and leadership. This latest round of endorsements proudly demonstrates that I'm the right choice to lead our community in the State Assembly," Morinello said. "My ability to build consensus and find solutions to help make Western New York even stronger set me apart from other candidates in this race. I'm honored to partner with my friends in the Conservative, Independence and Reform parties to represent them in the State Assembly.
"Thank you to New York State Conservative Chairman Mike Long, New York State Independence Party Chairman Frank MacKay, and Reform Party Chairman Bill Merrell for your support."
Long said, "Angelo Morinello has spent his time as a judge making responsible decisions that balance freedom and responsibility. What sets Angelo apart, however, is his ability and dedication to mentoring and educating others in his community about those principles. Angelo Morinello is the clear choice for State Assembly, and someone we can trust to fairly represent us."
Susan Agnello-Eberwein, chairwoman of the Niagara County Independence Party, said, "It could not be clearer that the only candidate for State Assembly with the moral compass to serve our community is Angelo Morinello. We need honest and virtuous leaders in Albany who make the right decisions for us, not ones that are expedient for their political career. Angelo Morinello will bring his years of public service to Albany with a focus of more jobs, lower taxes and holding state government accountable. The Niagara County Independence Party looks forward to partnering with Angelo Morinello in the State Assembly."
Merrell said, "Angelo Morinello is the only candidate for State Assembly who knows what it's like to stand up and be a leader for our community, not cave to the special interests in Albany. Angelo Morinello has spent his career setting reasonable and common-sense objectives for those in his community.
"As the next State Assemblyman from the 145th District, the Reform Party knows voters can count on Angelo Morinello to do the same at the State Capitol."
The 145th Assembly District includes parts of Niagara and Erie counties.
