Project Connect Niagara, an event designed to connect those in need with critical services in a "one-stop" venue, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Heart, Love, and Soul Inc. in Niagara Falls.

Project Connect Niagara aims to make a positive impact on the community by bringing together a wide range of agencies to provide access to free services and resources, including housing, employment, government benefits, veterans benefits, legal services, medical and dental care, haircuts, public benefits screenings, financial services and family services.

The project aims to form a partnership between community volunteers, city government, nonprofits and the private sector to provide this "one-stop shop" of health and human services for those in need throughout Niagara County. In order to ensure the quality of this event, sponsorships are available and greatly appreciated.

In addition, shuttles will be available to provide transportation to and from the event for those interested in attending. The locations are Lockport CARES in Lockport, YWCA in North Tonawanda and Community Missions in Niagara Falls.

Those interested in becoming a sponsor of this event, or making a tax-deductible donation, are asked to contact Sister Beth Brosmer of Heart, Love, and Soul at 716-282-5689 by June 30. For additional information about the event, call 716-205-0287 or email [email protected].
