New slate of performances and events announced in Niagara Falls and Salamanca

Seneca Resorts & Casinos has announced a new, wide-ranging slate of performances and sporting events for Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls and Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino in Salamanca.

New performances at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino include an Aug. 27 performance by the one and only Andrew Dice Clay. One of most controversial and outrageous comics in history, Clay has been leaving audiences wide-eyed and laughing with his unique wit, sarcasm and comedic assault style. In rocketing to worldwide fame, he became the first comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row, and released a string of gold and platinum CDs. Over the past few years, Clay has appeared in numerous movies and television shows, and, in 2015, released his autobiography, "The Filthy Truth."

Seneca Niagara will also host a return by King of the Cage, the leader in casino mixed martial arts entertainment. After bringing the excitement of MMA to a capacity crowd of sporting fans from throughout the U.S. and Canada at Seneca Niagara in March, King of the Cage returns with another blockbuster card Saturday, Sept. 24. Doors open at 6 p.m. and fights start at 7 p.m.

In Salamanca, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino has added another outdoor show to its lineup, presenting a performance by War and Foghat on Saturday, Aug. 20.

Throughout the 1970s, War proved to be a creative force, first working with ex-Animal Eric Burdon, and later releasing four top 10 albums. Their notable hits include "Low Rider," "Why Can't We Be Friends?" and "The World Is A Ghetto."

Foghat released a series of best-selling, hard-rocking blues-rock albums in the mid-'70s. The rock classic "Slow Ride," along with "I Just Want To Make Love To You" and "Fool For The City" are still arena rock staples.

Seneca Allegany will also welcome country music superstar Trace Adkins on Saturday, Oct. 1. With his instantly recognizable baritone, Adkins has earned dozens of charted singles and top 10 hits, along with gold and platinum, and total sales surpassing 10 million. Some of his popular hits include "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing," "Ladies Love Country Boys" and "You're Gonna Miss This."

Other shows announced include: Jimmy Beaumont & The Skyliners (The Bear's Den Showroom, Sept. 2), Coco Montoya (The Bear's Den Showroom, Sept. 17), and Spin Doctors (The Bear's Den Showroom, Sept. 23).

Tickets for all shows are available at select Seneca Resort & Casino retail outlets, online at SenecaCasinos.com and Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster locations, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
