Buffalo company to host a public Cinco De Mayo-themed party to commemorate anniversary

Local marketing and communications agency 19 IDEAS is celebrating its fifth year in business. Founded by veteran communications professional Katie Krawczyk in 2011, the company has grown alongside the resurgence of Buffalo, built on shared commitment to deliver mindful solutions across public relations, marketing, web and mobile app development, and graphic design that makes meaningful community impact.

19 IDEAS has doubled its sales and staff each year. During the period, the company's most significant growth came in an 18-month period from September 2014 to February 2016, growing from four full-time employees to 17 full-time and two part-time team members. As a result, 19 IDEAS is one of the fastest growing companies in Western New York. To accommodate its growth, the company relocated to the Essex Art Center on Buffalo's west side in January 2015. It became the first private company to occupy space in the complex, which has served as home to many local artists and creatives for more than 40 years.

"Starting my own business was one of the biggest gambles I have ever taken. Each day, I am reminded of how it was also one of the best. Our company's internal mantra of 'work with purpose' has carried us through the last five years, and we look forward to many more in this community," Krawczyk said.

To celebrate this milestone, the company will host a Cinco de Mayo-themed party at its offices - open to the community - to celebrate and thank valued clients, partners and friends. The party will be held from 6-9 p.m. tonight at 32C Essex St. Special features will include a beer and infused tequila tasting (crafted by 19 IDEAS staff), Lloyd Taco Truck, Community Beer Works, a live DJ and visual entertainment. RSVPs can be submitted to the event's Facebook page or to [email protected].

19 IDEAS is a New York state-certified Woman Owned Business Enterprise in the fields of advertising, marketing, public relations, events management, website design and mobile application development. Visit 19ideas.com for more information.
