Four locally based community groups each hand-painted a Dumpster to demonstrate their vision of what Earth Day means to them. This year's participants included Girl Scout Troop 70072 of Ransomville, and students of Tonawanda High School, Ken West High School and the Charter School for Applied Technologies Middle School.

The decorated Dumpsters were put on display outside of the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls last weekend. Photos of each Dumpster can be viewed on Guard Contracting Corp.'s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Guard-Contracting-Corporation-416833398337045/.

To vote, "Like" the photo of the Dumpster of choice. The Dumpster that brings in the most votes will win $500 as a donation from Guard Contracting Corporation. Voting is open to the public until May 2. The contest winner will be announced May 3.
