Volunteers are again needed to sell newspapers to support Kids Day on Tuesday, April 26. Proceeds from this paper sale help support the Women and Children's Hospital and their efforts to care for patients. The Grand Island Knights of Columbus Mary Star of the Sea Council No. 4752 is the satellite for Grand Island, with headquarters located at 1841 Whitehaven Road. Volunteers should arrive at 5:30 a.m. to collect papers and get a location assignment. For questions or to register early, call 716-773-4752 or 716-773-1338 and ask for Bill Gworek, this year's coordinator.
