Stop, shop and swing: 'Springtime Swing Dance' at Elks Lodge in Tonawanda

Swiftwater Business Association and Cats Like Us present a free dance event, "Springtime Swing Dance," from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at The Elks Lodge, 55 Main St., Tonawanda.

Admission is free. Starting at 7 p.m., there will be a swing lesson taught by Chuck Chazz (host of Buffalo's longest-running swing dance, "The Next Generation Swing Dance"). Stay to practice what you've learned.

Cash bar beverages and pizza will be sold.

For more than 10 years, Swiftwater has promoted the downtown shopping district through community outreach and events like the "Romantic Stroll In The City."
