Heart of Niagara adoption event at East Amherst Pet Supplies Plus

Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present with adoptable dogs Sugar and Tillie from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at Pet Supplies Plus, 9630 Transit Road (corner of North French) in East Amherst. Volunteers will have information about the adoption process, helping out and upcoming events. New volunteers are welcome.

The rescue is gratefully accepting much-needed donations of Science Diet and Purina One dog foods, paper towels, laundry detergent, bleach, cleaning products, blankets and comforters.

Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, the rescue has adopted out about 400 animals. It operates solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.
