Oakwood Cemetery announces 2016 board of directors

On March 9, the Oakwood Cemetery Association held its annual membership meeting and board of directors election. Named to the 2016 board of directors are:

  • President: Whitney Mallam
  • Vice President: Robert "Butch" Kazeangin
  • Treasurer: Otto Redanz Jr.
  • Financial secretary: Alan Kranitz and Mike Hooper
  • Corresponding secretary: Pete Ames
  • Directors: Ralph Aversa, Trudy Christman, Becky Dyster, Dorothy Marsh Rolling, Audrey Young-Zygand
  • President emeritus: Tom Yots

Established in 1852, Oakwood Cemetery, located at 763 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, is one of the oldest cemeteries in Western New York. Named to the National Register of Historic Places, it is a member of the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area, the Niagara Falls Historic Preservation Commission and Preservation Buffalo Niagara.
