Nurse practitioner Cristina Virtuoso to join Memorial's primary care team

Cristina E. Virtuoso, F.N.P., will join the clinical staff at Niagara Falls Memorial's Summit Family Health Center and Lewiston Primary Care Center effective April 12.

A family nurse practitioner with 10 years of experience in her field, Virtuoso is Niagara Falls native who is excited to be returning to practice in her hometown. She earned her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from the University at Buffalo and is a graduate of Niagara County Community College.

Virtuoso most recently provided care to patients at Family Care Physicians PC, Williamsville, where she participated in the development and implementation of a general medicine patient education center and counseled patients and family members on disease management. Her previous experience includes the provision of patient care at Riverfront Medical, also in Williamsville.

Licensed as both a family nurse practitioner and registered nurse, Virtuoso is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
