The Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas Women's Expo & Boutique will offer a day of pampering from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Tonawanda Castle, 69 Delaware St., Tonawanda.
Participating vendors include those of fashion, finance, home products, health, beauty and jewelry. Each booth will offer its own giveaways and the chamber will raffle off an overnight stay at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, as well as two $100 Visa gift cards courtesy of M&T Bank and First Niagara Bank.
Fashion shows will also be held throughout the day. Michele's Motif and Boutique will hold its fashion show at 10 a.m., Dress Barn at 11:30 a.m., Janie's Emporium at 1 p.m. and Hip Gypsy at 4 p.m.
Demonstrations will also be held during the event as follows:
"In prior years, this event has drawn up toward 1,000 attendees over the course of the day. I'm so thankful for the assistance of all our board members and volunteers who help make this event a huge success!" said Angela R. Johnson-Renda, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas.
Tickets for the event cost $5. Individuals under 16 years old enter for free. Tickets are available at the Tonawandas Chamber, 254 Sweeney St., North Tonawanda, open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and at Budwey's Supermarkets (cash only), 535 Division St., North Tonawanda.
