Niagara University's Kiernan Recreation Center is offering an American Red Cross lifeguarding certification class April 23-24.
The two-day course is geared toward individuals seeking summer jobs as camp counselors and/or lifeguards. NU is offering the program at a discounted rate of $175, which must be paid at the time of registration.
Sessions will be held from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24.
The deadline to register is April 15.
Those who successfully complete the course will receive an American Red Cross certification in lifeguarding, CPR and first aid.
