Patrick Finan, CEO and co-founder of Buffalo-based City Dining Cards, will be the next speaker in the Daemen College Nancy Haberman Gacioch Entrepreneurship Lecture Series scheduled for 5 p.m. March 2 in the Wick Campus Center Alumni Lounge. The lecture is free and open to the public
Founded in 2011, City Dining Cards has rapidly grown into a global customer loyalty marketing company that works with businesses to engage and retain customers in their local communities. The company made a name for itself with decks of cards that offer discounts to area restaurants, and last year launched an app that features the same deals.
In addition to leading City Dining Cards, Finan is principal and co-founder of Block Club, an award-winning branding and strategy agency.
Building his companies from the ground up, his businesses have more than 30 employees through the U.S. and Canada.
The 2015-16 Nancy Haberman Gacioch Entrepreneurship Lecture Series, which is sponsored by the Daemen Entrepreneurship Program, is featuring several community entrepreneurs who recognize the potential that exists in the region's neighborhoods through revitalization efforts, new programming, job creation or collaborative endeavors.
