Blackhawks-Wild in NHL Stadium Series on NBC

NBC Sports Group celebrates hockey in the U.S. with a Hockey Day In America tripleheader this Sunday across NBC and NBCSN, highlighted by an NHL Stadium Series matchup between Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks and Zach Parise and the Minnesota Wild, from TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Three-time Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike "Doc" Emrick, U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member and analyst Eddie Olczyk, and Emmy Award-winning "Inside-the-Glass" analyst Pierre McGuire will call the Blackhawks-Wild NHL Stadium Series matchup on NBC.

NBC Sports' Hockey Day In America tripleheader starts at 12:30 p.m. on NBC, as rookie sensation Jack Eichel and the Buffalo Sabres host Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins, and wraps up at 7 p.m. with an "Original Six" "Sunday Night Hockey" matchup on NBCSN, as Dylan Larkin and the Detroit Red Wings face Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers.

NBC Sports Live Extra - NBC Sports Group's live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets and connected TVs - will stream this week's NHL coverage on NBC and NBCSN.

Penguins-Sabres - Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on NBC

Pittsburgh (28-19-8, 65 points; fifth in Metropolitan Division) has posted a 7-2-1 record since Jan. 21, due in large part to the play of Sidney Crosby, who has surged over the past two months to move into a tie for eighth in the NHL in points (53). The Pens enter this week's play following a 2-1 shootout loss to the Atlantic Division-leading Panthers on Monday.

Buffalo (23-28-6, 52 points, seventh in Atlantic Division) has won two straight games, including a 4-1 victory over the Avalanche on Sunday, as Eichel netted the 17th goal of his rookie campaign in the win. Eichel is currently tied for second among rookies in points (38) and tied for third among rookies with his 17 goals. The Penguins won the only previous matchup this season against the Sabres, despite 53 shots on goal from Buffalo.

John Forslund (play-by-play) and Brian Boucher ("Inside-the-Glass") will call the action from First Niagara Center in Buffalo.
