The YWCA of the Niagara Frontier is accepting applications for the YWCA/Munk/Human scholarships for Niagara County women returning to secondary education effective April 1, 2016.To be eligible, potential recipients must meet the following criteria:
•Potential recipients will be nontraditional female students pursuing a higher education with ties to Niagara County. The committee will use the National Center for Educational Statistics' definition of a nontraditional student (including but not limited to, full- or part-time students).
•Students pursuing any higher education following high school or achievement of an HSE/GED will be considered for award. This includes, but is not limited to, students pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or associate's degree, as well as accreditation and certification programs.
•Students residing in Niagara County or who have used the services of the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier will be given preference.
