The Food Bank of Western New York was awarded a $23,500 grant from BJ's Charitable Foundation to support agency capacity building by purchasing new refrigerators and freezers for nine food pantries throughout Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties.
Recently, representatives from BJ's spent the afternoon volunteering at Resurrection Life Food Pantry in Cheektowaga, another one of the Food Bank's member agencies that received a new freezer as a result of the grant.
