Event will offer information and resources for first-time homebuyers
First Niagara Financial Group will participate with West Side and Black Rock Riverside Housing Services, Belmont Housing Services and Specsure Property Inspections in a free homebuyer seminar to help first-time home buyers gain access to the information and resources they need to become confident, educated and prepared consumers.
The seminar takes place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 701 E. Delevan Ave., Buffalo. Industry experts will be on hand to provide an overview of the home-buying process, information on affordable loan products, down payment assistance programs and other financial and legal tips.
The event is free and open to the public. Giveaways and refreshments will be available, as well as activities for children.
