Knights of Columbus installs officers

The Knights of Columbus Good Samaritan Council 15749, which meets at St. Stephen's R.C. Church, recently held its installation of officers for 2015-16.

The members re-elected Bob Davis for his second one-year term as Grand Knight. The other officers are: Deputy Grand Knight Ed Ryan; Chancellor Karol Lozinski; Warden Al Ricotta; Financial Secretary Joe Diebold, PGK; Treasurer, Mike Torrance, PGK; Recorder John Donner; Inside Guard Mike Billoni; Outside Guard Michael Estrella; Trustee, 3rd Year, Todd Schiffmacher, PGK; Trustee, 2nd Year, Dennis Dzielski, PGK; and Trustee, 1st Year, Ted Korkuc, PGK. The chaplain is the Rev. Paul Nogaro, pastor of St. Stephen's Church.

The three-year-old council is open to men ages 18 and up. Participants do not have to belong to St. Stephen's Church. Monthly meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday of the month in the church's music room.

The council conducts many charitable acts throughout
the year and holds several events. On Saturday, Dec. 12, members of the council will volunteer at St. Luke's Mission of Mercy in Buffalo.
