On Sunday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 19, the Aquarium of Niagara celebrates the magic of the holidays in a way that is sure to please all children from ages 1 to 99 with its "Breakfast with Santa."

"This event was planned meticulously to keep children and grownups entertained, fed and happy," Executive Director Gay Molnar said. "It's a half-day chock full of activities. Conservation continues to be a primary theme here at the aquarium, and all the activities are geared to be fun and educational."

The event includes a continental breakfast, a visit with Santa and one of his very special animal helpers, a holiday sea lion show, crafts, prizes and more. Children of Aquarium of Niagara members enter free. Adult members pay $7. General admission adults are $14 while children of non-members are $11.

Help feed the hungry and get $1 off admission for each can of food brought in (up to $5 off each ticket.) Canned goods will be donated to the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission.

The breakfast event takes place from 9 a.m. to 12:20 p.m., with seatings at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Call 716-288-3575 to reserve a spot.

The Aquarium of Niagara is located at 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls. Parking is always free.

The event is sponsored by Sheraton at the Falls and Liberty Mutual Insurance.
