Tim Wassberg paid a visit to Niagara County this week, making stops at the Niagara Culinary Institute, Old Fort Niagara and the Niagara Wine Trail, among other locations. Wassberg is the programmer/managing editor at California-based Sirk TV, and consulting producer/senior editor at The Inside Reel. Both are broadcast nationally on cable and across college campuses.
His footage of the Niagara Region will air next month.
Wassberg's tour guide was Michelle Blackley, head of global media relations for the Niagara Tourism and Convention Corp., and host of "Niagara Now" on LCTV. The two of them are pictured, top, back row, inside Freedom Run Winery alongside Chief Operating Officer Lawrence Manning.
The Lockport winery provided lunch for Wassberg, while Manning shared stories - and tastings - of wines made on the Lower Mountain Road grounds (below).
