The Buffalo Sabres Foundation announced there will be a guaranteed pot of $50,000 for the 50/50 raffle at each of the Sabres' next two home games, when the Sabres host the Nashville Predators tonight and the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased for the prices of one for $2, three for $5, 10 for $10, and 30 for $20, and will be sold through the end of the second period. The winning ticket number will be announced and displayed on the HD video board during the third period. The winning raffle ticket holder is entitled to a cash prize equal to 50 percent of the gross 50/50 raffle ticket sales. With a guaranteed pot of $50,000, the holder of the winning ticket will take home a prize of at least $25,000.
The Buffalo Sabres Foundation is a New York not-for-profit corporation, qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and qualified as a public charity. The Buffalo Sabres Foundation was established in 1995 and reinvigorated in 2011 following the acquisition of the Buffalo Sabres by Terry and Kim Pegula.
