The Grand Island Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas luncheons at River Lea at noon Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec. 4. This year's program will feature a portrayal of Clara Barton by local presenter Denise Reichard. For ticket reservations, call Sue at 716-773-5313.
To start the holiday shopping early, visit the country store at River Lea featuring unique handmade gifts. The country store will be open for the luncheons and during the holiday open house on Sunday, Dec. 6, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Another open house will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at River Lea in Beaver Island State Park.
