Heart of Niagara Animal Rescue will be present with adoptable dogs Devers, Joni and Tillie from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards, 3724 Quaker Road, Gasport. Volunteers will be set up near the "Pumpkin Fiesta" and will have information about the adoption process, volunteering and upcoming events.
The rescue is accepting donations of Science Diet and Purina One dog food and always welcomes new volunteers.
Heart of Niagara is a not-for-profit companion animal rescue organization based in Niagara County. Its mission is to protect the health and welfare of abandoned, unwanted and homeless animals. To date, the rescue has adopted out more than 360 animals. It operates solely on donations and the generosity and support of the public.
