Buffalo Sabres: Game-worn jersey auction underway

The Buffalo Sabres' game-worn jersey auction began yesterday. The bidding is open to anyone at Auction.NHL.com until 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18. The jerseys available for auction include various game-worn jerseys from the 2014-15 season, as well as the 2015 Sabres Development Camp jerseys from Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart.

All proceeds from the auctions will benefit the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and qualified as a public charity. The Buffalo Sabres Foundation was established in 1995 and reinvigorated in 2011 following the acquisition of the Buffalo Sabres by Terry and Kim Pegula. Its mission is to stimulate, support and encourage organizations that serve Western New York and are committed to youth hockey initiatives; the health, wellness and education of underprivileged /disadvantaged youth and military personnel; and physically and mentally challenged athlete.
