The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, USA Niagara Development Corp., The New York State Department of Transportation, the New York Power Authority and the City of Niagara Falls have announced a public information meeting will be held to present the proposed "build alternative" for the Robert Moses Parkway North Removal Project, which runs from Main Street in Niagara Falls. The meeting will take place from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Conference & Events Center Niagara Falls, 101 Old Falls St.

The format of the meeting will be an "open house," where agency staff will be available for review of the plans and questions. A formal presentation on the project will take place at 6 p.m. with questions and answers to follow.

The "build alternative" that will be presented incorporates feedback from previous public sessions and comments received, and will serve as the basis for analyzing anticipated environmental impacts of the project.

It is anticipated a full environmental assessment on the project will be issued later this year.

For more information, contact Paul Tronolone, senior project manager for the USA Niagara Development Corp., at 716-284-2556.
