Saturday, Sept. 12, will mark the 37th annual Niagara County Peach Festival 5K Run.

Race-day registration starts at 7:45 a.m. at the KeyBank on Center Street in Lewiston. T-shirts will be awarded to the first 200 entrants with post-race refreshments and awards at that location.

The race begins at 9 a.m. in front of the Frontier House on Center Street.

The course is flat and fast and will feature Jaguar RFID chip timing by Race Management Solutions Inc.

Each year, the race committee chooses a local charity as the recipient of all proceeds. This year's recipients are Wilson Community Food Pantry and Autism Center at Women & Children's Hospital.

DiMino's Lewiston Tops, Niagara's Choice Federal Credit Union and The Kiwanis Club sponsor this event. It is the kick-off to the annual Peach Festival parade and weekend of fun on the midway at Academy Park.
