On Tuesday, Oct. 6, The Buffalo History Museum will host an open house to introduce new resources and teaching tools for Western New York teachers to explore. Teachers of all grade levels are invited to take mini docent-led tours of the exhibits and examine education tools - history kits, artifacts and activity books - developed by the museum's education department staff.

The "Teachers' Night Out" program portion supports the current curriculum and core learning standards while offering teachers a relaxed forum to share ideas over a beverage and afterschool snacks. Live music by Geno McManus, mingling and prizes are featured.

The event runs from 5-8 p.m. at The Buffalo History Museum, One Museum Court, Buffalo.

To RSVP or for more information, contact Megan MacNeill at 716-873-9644, ext. 320, or email [email protected].
