Music is Art Festival Saturday, Sept. 12, at Delaware Park behind Albright Knox Art Gallery
A special appearance by Buffalo's own Goo Goo Dolls will highlight this year's 13th annual Music is Art Festival on Saturday, Sept. 12. The free event runs from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. in Delaware Park behind the Albright Knox Art Gallery.
Willie Nile, Green Jello and Japan's Pinky Doodle Poodle will appear live with more than 100 additional bands appearing on six different stages. The event also includes six DJ stages, two dance stages, live and installation artists, exhibiting artists, projections, performance art, spoken word, live sculptures, a silent disco, the infringement valley and a kids village during daytime event hours.
Food and beverages are available at the festival as well as music merchandise. MIA boasts an art auction and raffle items.
