Just hours after WBBZ-TV release a press release announcing a new season of "The Fred Jackson Show," the Buffalo Bills unexpectedly released the popular running back Monday. He was a star player on the team for nearly 10 years.
WBBZ-TV owner Phil Arno stated, "We stand with Fred, no matter which direction he chooses. He is, and will always be, a member of our WBBZ-TV team."
Vice President and General Manager Chris Musial is in communication with Jackson's agent to learn the status of what the future may bring. In the meantime, the fourth season of "The Fred Jackson Show" is still scheduled to air live Monday, Sept. 14 (7 p.m.), on Buffalo's MeTV Station.
WBBZ-TV will keep everyone posted on developments.
