'Frankie Avalon - Christmas Show' headlines upcoming events at Riviera Theatre

The Historic Riviera Theatre and Performing Arts Center announces the following events:

•"Frankie Avalon - Christmas Show": 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18. Reserved tickets: $56/$46.

If you can't remember a time when Frankie Avalon wasn't a part of your life, you aren't alone. This talented performer can look back on a career that spans three generations of music, television and motion pictures, which he feels is due primarily to the loyalty and trust of his audience.

This show will feature singers from Thomas Edison Elementary School joining Avalon onstage for some classic holiday carols.

•The United Kingdom Ukulele Orchestra (TUKUO): 2 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20. Reserved: $29 (group sale opportunities available).

Nothing can stop this orchestra. With its bass, baritone, tenor, concert and soprano ukuleles, what actually happens on stage is the composition of virtually irreconcilable pieces of every musical direction - jazz, classic, pop, rock, film scores and its own compositions.
